Pakistan Old Women
The status of Pakistan women is not homogenous because of the interconnection of gender with other forms of exclusion in the society. There is considerable diversity in the status of Pakistan women across classes, regions, and the rural/urban divide due to uneven socioeconomic development and the impact of tribal, feudal, and capitalist social formations on women's lives. Pakistani old women are working side by side with men and succeeding in their professional lives. Giving equal attentions to their homes and their professional lives too, Pakistani old women are making an excellent example for upcoming generations that women can be successful in any field.
Pakistan old women are so important in our modern society; they are mostly the reason for our existence. Pakistan old women have spent a lot of time in the world and have seen things that the younger people of the world have not witnessed or do not understand such as the World Wars. Pakistani old women also face unique health issues beginning at age 50 and throughout the rest of their lives. Heart disease, osteoporosis, breast cancer and diabetes occur more often in Pakistani older women than in younger women. Lung cancers cause the greatest number of cancer-related deaths in women, followed by breast cancer, then colon cancer. Besides that our religion Islam also has given honorable status to old parents.
"And lower to them shoulders with humility and meekness and say my Lord have mercy upon them (both) as they brought me up when I was little."
Old women of Pakistan are the backbone of modern society. They have shown us and continue to show us what can be done and exactly how to do it. There is not enough respect for all the old women that have gone before us. Pakistani old women have been "there" and done just about everything we can think about.
